• Face-to-face interviews in randomly selected polling booths
• Telephone surveys using random digit dialing
• Online panels with verified respondents

This multi-modal approach ensures comprehensive coverage across urban and rural areas.

For the Bihar Assembly Elections 2025 opinion poll:

• Total respondents: 10,000+
• Coverage: All 243 assembly constituencies
• Minimum 40 respondents per constituency

3. Weightage & Balancing

Raw data is weighted to match the demographic profile of Bihar using:

• Age and gender distribution
• Rural-urban population ratio
• Caste and community representation
• Geographic distribution across regions

Weights are calculated using the latest Census data and Election Commission statistics.

4. Margin of Error

The overall margin of error for this poll is ±3% at 95% confidence level. This means:

• If we conducted this poll 100 times, in 95 cases the results would be within 3 percentage points of the numbers reported
• Margin of error may be higher for sub-groups and constituency-level data
